| Trina "G" born as Trina Gaddis born on December 5th 1979 to a loving
family mother, Valerie Hatcher and father, Ricky Gaddis. Born and raised in
Milwaukee, WI. Trina "G" showed her love for music at the age of 4 years
old singing and dancing to every song that came on the radio. Singing songs
like New Edition, Candy Girl and Michael Jackson, ABC was when we knew
she had a passion for singing. As a young girl, Trina "G" would sing at church every Sunday and would cry if there wasn't enough time. At 12 years old, Trina "G" sang in the choir. She had a voice that was so dynamic that people would not believe that she was the one with the strongest voice at such a young age. In church on Sunday people would request for Trina "G" to sing because she would bless the congregation, people were crying and feeling the spirit of God come over them. By then Trina "G" was the Lead vocalist in her church choir and had also wrote her first song "Must Have Been". While growing up Trina "G" knew that entertainment would be her destiny.
At the age of 17, she wrote, directed and performed in the plays at her church. With great feedback from the community, the drama group was asked to
perform at the Milwaukee festivals where thousands attended. They were
very popular at this time, The drama group was then asked to perform
at parks and different states also. With a big response from her community
Trina "G" then could not stop there. She gathered a band, dancers, and back-up singers for her coming out show at the Ramada Inn, Milwaukee. The show was a blast.
Trina "G" struck media attention, radio, newspaper
And television coverage. Trina "G" was greatly appreciative of the community support that she gave back by speaking to the youth at the YMCA, about holding fast to their dreams. She not only spoke to the children at the YMCA but in her church also.
Milwaukee, WI was just a start for her. She then traveled to Atlanta, Chicago
and New York. Trina "G" sang with different bands and didn't care about getting paid as long as she could perform, she was happy. She met with a lot of executives and learned a lot about the music industry. She then travel to Los Angeles that's where her career took off meeting legends like Leon Haywood and the Chi-lites. Trina "G" then felt comfort and decided to work with Leon Haywood on her first project.
Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige and Yolanda Adams are just a few who have greatly
inspired her.
Trina "G" goals are to reach all kinds of people. She is not limited to the musical style of Hip Hop/R & B. But Country, Gospel, Pop & Rock are not stranger to her either.
"You hear a lot of musicians talk about the good side of their life but I am one to speak real about the road to destiny. Yes, it maybe hard at times.
Yes, you may get rejections. Yes, you may even want to give up.
But I've learned that the harder the opposition the better the blessing. Rejections is what made me fight even harder, because after the pain I got up and made it happen. I now learned to appreciate what God has blessed me with and I believe that it will only get greater and greater. All in a matter of time."
